Intro: Book IV’s prayers are all oriented toward the Disciple’s receiving Holy Communion. Each Chapter is its own prayer. Most are adoration or a self-examination to recognize our unworthy nature, or in Thanksgiving for God’s Grace in allowing us to participate in the Mass and in the gift of the Eucharist as a means of growing in intimacy with Christ Himself.
